About Joseph Castillo

He was drawn to a real estate profession in July 2021 at a premier boutique firm in NYC, where he specialized in rentals and was soon appointed to solely lease an exciting new development project in the East Village. He handled an exclusive portfolio of 80 units across 15 buildings which he rented in less than 10 months, and his referral business grew exponentially. This led Joseph to close countless other deals, including for well-known fashion content creator, Wisdom Kaye. He broadened his scope to sales and has continued successfully helping clients buy and sell throughout this vibrant city.

Joseph is a hardworking, highly productive real estate agent, whose nimbleness and collaborative attitude have built a stellar reputation among landlords and clients in the fast-paced NYC housing market. His prior background in luxury retail was extensive and fueled his skills and finesse when it comes to sales and superior customer service. The last five years of that career, Joseph spent working at Saks Fifth Avenue and lastly, at Christian Louboutin, as the youngest manager at the top-producing store in the U.S. There he assisted VIP/celebrity clients and helped coordinate styling pulls for other prominent figures like The Kardashian family and a former First Lady.

 

Born and raised in Costa Rica until age 14, Joseph moved with his family to Seattle, Washington, and attended high school there, earning an Associate’s degree from Bellevue, WA through an accelerated program. He came to NYC to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications.

 

Joseph is a native Spanish speaker plus is conversant in French. He is married to an architect and is an avid outdoor runner who loves seeing the city from a whole other perspective through his sport.
